Wilbur Jones married Christy Gilman of Portales in the first wedding held at the Fountains on the Mall. Wilbur is a member of the LCU facilities team, and Christy works for Texas Tech but was an adjunct professor at LCU about 12 years ago. The service was held June 20th and officiated by Peter Dahlstrom.
Jim (Technology) and Lorna Smith (Business Office) announce the birth of their granddaughter, Kara D’Nae Huntsberger, born on July 17, 2015. Parents are David (attended ’09) and Amanda Huntsberger (’13) of Crowley, TX. Big brother Brennan, who is 4 years old, is excited to have a sister.
Justin Houser, Ph.D., of Starbucks passed a Starbucks certification to earn the title of Coffee Master. Look for him in his new black apron signifying his master status.
