Publications:
Sam Ayers recently completed the softback reference book LUBBOCK SPORTS HEROES. The publication was distributed to area school and public libraries in early January 2015.
Presentations:
Sam Ayers presented “Lubbock Sports Heroes” to the Monterey AMBUCS on January 12th and the New Neighbors Club January 9th. He also presented “Animals of Africa” to PreK students at Lubbock Cooper North Elementary School January 16th and “Writing About Heroes” to the student body and visiting parents at Bowie Elementary School on December 18th, 2014.
SoE Student Teachers are sporting new shirts that say “I’m a Teacher. What’s your super power?” Secondary students began Student Teaching on January 20 and Elementary students began on February 2. Please keep these students in your prayers as they prepare to become classroom teachers.
The School of Education hosted Rock the Rip on January 15th. Centennial Elementary Honor Choir under the direction of SoE Alum Amanda Bauer, sang the National Anthem.
