Here are the 2015 cohort of new Family Nurse Practitioner students starting this Summer.
We have 18 new students selected for the program. We are very excited about this new group of students as they begin their journey to become advanced practice nurses in primary care. The addition of these new students increases the FNP program to 31 active students currently enrolled. This steady growth has enabled the graduate nursing department to hire Vanessa Bolyard, a full-time FNP faculty member who will begin teaching in the Fall. The new nursing building will allow for continued growth in the LCU nursing programs and support our students with quality educational facilities. The FNP program will have its first graduating class in May of 2016.
