Dr. Sam Ayers had an article, “Take Time to Read Art,” published in the Spring 2016 edition of Lubbock Senior Link (p. 34).
Dr. Sam Ayers had an art and photography exhibit on display in the Diana Ling Center for Academic Achievement. “Community: Sketchbook Campus Impressions” and “Community: Photographic Images and Impressions” will remain on display through April 29.
Dr. Sam Ayers worked with Dr. David Boyer to recognize the Distinguished Educators of Lubbock County and present the Lubbock Christian Award for Excellence in Teaching. The recognition was jointly sponsored by The Knowledge Center, Inc. and the LCU School of Education. The event recognized public school teachers, and the reception was held in the Baker Conference Center on March 22, 2016.
Dr. Sam Ayers represented President Timothy Perrin of LCU at the Inauguration of Danny J. Anderson as the 19th President of Trinity University in San Antonio on February 18, 2016
