Dr. Gonzalo Ramirez was honored at the 30^th Anniversary of the Bilingual/ESL Education Association of the Metroplex (BEAM) Conference on Saturday, March 1^st in Dallas. Dr. Ramirez was recognized at a dinner for former presidents of the organization along with the keynote speaker, Robert Marzano. Four education majors also attended the conference.   

Dr. Susan Blassingame has been invited to participate on a panel at the Christian Scholars Conference. The panel, “Women and Leadership in a Christian Context: Insights from a Lean In Reading Group”, will include panelist from Abilene Christian and Harding as well. The conference will be at Lipscomb University in June.

The School of Education sponsored the Kid’s show during Homecoming weekend.  Several local elementary schools attended and enjoyed the show!
