Departmental News

President Perrin has been busy traveling to meet old and new friends of the university.  He had the opportunity to join Best Friends in Houston for Soul Link where he was able to share some LCU stories to more than a thousand teens.  President Perrin also spoke in chapel at Dallas Christian School to the 6-12th graders.  He served as a speaker and panelist at the National Christian School Association’s annual meeting in Nashville.  President and Mrs. Perrin enjoyed hosting Amanda Boston and her husband, as well as a group of LCU students for SNAPP (Sunday night at President Perrin’s).  President Perrin was also pleased to greet and speak to the Leadership Lubbock class that made a recent visit to campus.

Dr. Starr enjoys honoring one of his students with the “Chap of Honor” in his Finance course that he is teaching this spring.  He has had the opportunity to greet many visitors to our campus including the Talkington 10th graders, Chap Day attendees, and applicants at a dessert reception.  Dr. Starr had the opportunity to speak to the Association of Fundraising Professionals as part of their continuing education.  He was also able to connect with other church leaders at ElderLink.

President Perrin and Dr. Starr’s schedules are full as they seek to serve the university and advance the mission of LCU!
